Back during slavery, when Black people like me talked to the slaves, they didnt kill em, they sent some old house Negro along behind him to undo what he said. You have to read the history of slavery to understand this. There were two kinds of Negroes. There was that old house Negro and the field Negro. And the house Negro always looked out for his master. When the field Negroes got too much out of line, he held them back in check. He put em back on the plantation. The house Negro could afford to do that because he lived better than the field Negro. He ate better, he dressed better, and he lived in a better house. He lived right up next to his master - in the attic or the basement. He ate the same food his master ate and wore his same clothes. And he could talk just like his master - good diction. And he loved his master more than his master loved himself. Thats why he didnt want his master hurt. If the master got sick, hed say, Whats the matter, boss, we sick? [Laughter] When the masters house caught afire, hed try and put the fire out. He didnt want his masters house burned. He never wanted his masters property threatened. And he was more defensive of it than the master was. That was the house Negro. But then you had some field Negroes, who lived in huts, had nothing to lose. They wore the worst kind of clothes. They ate the worst food. And they caught hell. They felt the sting of the lash. They hated their master. Oh yes, they did. If the master got sick, theyd pray that the master died. If the masters house caught afire, theyd pray for a strong wind to come along. This was the difference between the two. And today you still have house Negroes and field Negroes. Im a field Negro.

'Miracles of Nabi [SAW]' by Sheikh Sulaiman Moola<br />
<br />
Nabi is an Arabic word which means prophet. The word nabi in the title refers to the last prophet of Allah (God) sent to this world, Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and grant him peace). Prophet Muhammad had conducted various miracles during his lifetime which all prove his prophethood. Some miracles of Prophet Muhammad (saas) were the splitting of the moon, one sheep that fed so many people, pebbles prasing Allah became audible, a dear spoke to Prophet Muhammad (saas), a tree speaking, poisoned food communicated to Muhammad (saas), etc.. Other miracles of his were his prophecies. The Quran is the greatest miracle of Prophet Muhammad (saas) and it still exists with us today.<br />

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated, `The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, `Verily! Allah is Good and He therefore accepts only that which is good. And Allah commands the believers as He commands the Messengers by saying,<br />
<br />
`0 (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibat [all kinds of Halal (Iegal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.] and do righteous deeds.` (AI-Mu`minn, 23: 51)<br />
<br />
And He says,<br />
<br />
`0 you who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you with.` (AI-Baqarah, 2: 172)<br />
<br />
He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) then made mention of a person who travels widely, his hair is dishevelled and he is covered with dust. He (this person lifts his hand toward heaven (and thus makes the supplication), `0 Lord, 0 Lord,` whereas his diet is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothes are unlawful, and his nourishment is unlawful. How then can his supplication ever be answered?` (Recorded by Muslim)

It`s a documentary called `Food as Medicine` part 1 & 2 by Jerry Brunetti.<br />
<br />
This documentary explains how one can prevent and even be healed inshallah from cancer through the use of natural foods.<br />
<br />
Given the fact that cancer is now one of the biggest killer diseases worldwide (if not the biggest after prescription drugs), I`d say that inshallah this documentary will be a very valuable source of information for anyone who wants to know more about natural and non toxic ways for treating or preventing cancer without having to resort to the toxic and destructive (often lethal) options of chemo and radiation therapy.<br />
<br />
 <br />
<br />
For me this documentary is yet another proof of how much Allah loves us. Through the fruits, herbs & vegetables that Allah has created for humanity He has provided everything for us to live a healthy life free of diseases like cancer & hart disease etc. which are very much related to the harmful ways of the `modern western` lifestyle.<br />
<br />
Check it out and share the knowledge with our brothers and sisters inshallah.<br />

Allah's Apostle said, 'Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a man who encamps at a place where his life is jeopardized, but he has his riding beast carrying his food and water. He then rests his head and sleeps for a short while and wakes to find his riding beast gone. (He starts looking for it) and suffers from severe heat and thirst or what Allah wished (him to suffer from). He then says, 'I will go back to my place.' He returns and sleeps again, and then (getting up), he raises his head to find his riding beast standing beside him.'<br />

Asmaa was one of the few persons who knew of the Prophet's plan to leave for Madinah. The utmost secrecy had to be maintained because of the Quraysh's plans to murder the Prophet. On the night of their departure, Asmaa was the one who prepared a bag of food and a water container for their journey. She did not find anything with which to tie the containers and decided to use her waistband or nitaq. Abu Bakr suggested that she tear it into two. This she did and the Prophet commended her action. From then on she became known as `the One with the Two Waistbands`.
