DO NOT LOSE HOPE, TRUST IN ALLAH SWT

All gain or loss lies only in Allah SWT`s control. Allah Ta`ala says:

`If Allah helps you, none can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him who can help you? And in Allah alone let the believers put their trust.` (Al-Imran: 160)

Along with taking practical steps and putting in the utmost effort for constructive work and self-improvement, keep complete faith and trust in Allah`s Being and Powers.
http://halfdate.com

Assalam alaikum

Let me ask you a question.

What happens… if you with 100 thousands other Muslims gave $1 to ONE project at the same time?

Suddenly, your $1 made an impact of 100K dollars!

And this is no longer a theory. In the past 5 months, Muslims around the world have completed 5 projects through HalfDate.com

HalfDate.com is a Sadaqa promotion site.

The name HalfDate is inspired by the hadith of the prophet (SAW), where he said: protect yourself from the fire, even with a half a date donation, and if you can’t, then with a pleasant word.

And now, you are invited to take an active role to grow HalfDate into the BIGGEST Sadaqa engine on the Net. How? Simple, the least you can do, is to join the mailing.
Go to HalfDate.com and join the mailing list.

Okay, so what’s secret of success for HalfDate?

The simple answer is learning from the Quran and the Sunnah.

Here are the principles that we learned and applied on HalfDate

1.	Focused volume

At the beginning, I asked you: what happens if you with 100 thousands other Muslims gave $1. But I didn’t stop there. If I stopped there that’s called volume, but not FOCUSED volume.

Focused volume is when all of them give to ONE project at the same time.

And that’s what we do in HalfDate, every month we specify a measurable goal and a deadline within that month.

Where do you learn this in Islam? From all congregational worship, Salah jamaah, jumaa, Ramadan, and Hajj.

2.	Distributed, so no donor fatigue

One reason we started HalfDate, because we used to help a school and after a while, we just can’t cover the expenses of the school. So, with HalfDate, you distribute the load of one local community across the Ummah.

And that’s a principle in Islam, for example the hadith that says the believers are like a body, if one organ is sick, the whole body comes to rescue.

3.	With HalfDate, you get instant gratification; you see real difference made every month.

Why is this important? Because Allah is our creator and he told us, that we are impatient. So, with HalfDate, you know that your contribution makes an immediate difference.

Not like other other charity work, you donate $10K for a masjid and after 5 years, the project still doesn’t have enough fund.

4.	Sadaqa is not just donation

HalfDate drives are not just about donations, because Sadaqa in Islam is a broad concept. So with HalfDate, even when you can’t donate half a date, you can still leave a comment as the hadith said, a pleasant word.

Also, HalfDate gives you a good mixture of donation drives and other drives, so you don’t get tired, and that’s a principle in Islam, that human has short attention span.

So, you may help out in a Dua drive or a recycling drive… all depends on your interests.

5.	Grassroots discovery

Remember the stories where Abu Bark (RA) used to check the condition of Muslims at night. Same here, HalfDate gets reports from Muslims like you about people in need. For example, through people like you, we came to know about a sister who publishes children book, and help her community even that she suffered from several heart attacks.

And where do we learn this in the Quran? In sura al-thariyat and almararij, Allah wants us to give to those who ask and those who shy away from asking.

http://halfdate.com

With authentic references from the Qur'an and Sunnah, Shaikh Tawfique Chowdhury speaks about the one issue which we all love to avoid. Sultan Mohammed of Turkey is reported to have said, that he who eats from the table of life, will indeed drink from the cup of death. With the Hereafter being a distinct article of belief, Islam is a unique faith which explicitly describes the stages and realities of the life to come, from the moment we die, to the time spent in the grave, till the day of ressurection. Watch, reflect and act!

Shaikh Tawfique Chowdhury has travelled internationally sharing his knowledge in many countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He has written a number of books soon to be published, on a
wide array of topics, including an Islamic perspective on business transactions and Islamic rulings within the medical profession.

He is very active in working with many inter-faith organisations around the world and is also an international media contributor appearing on numerous TV and radio stations. The most notable are his appearances on ABC Asia Pacific, AlMajd Channel and the Islam Channel in the UK, where his lectures are frequently shown.
