Alkauthar presents,

World of the Unseen

And who believe in which has been sent down to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him) and in [the Books] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. [Al-Baqarah 2:4]

Discover what it means to truly believe in the hereafter. Never will we take a journey without any preparation, so how can we delude ourselves into thinking we don't have to prepare for the biggest journey of our life... and death.

Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us? [Al-Mu'minun 23:115]

Imagine yourself standing in a gathering. Crowds of people, all of them worried, more than worried... Panicking... Sweating up to their necks out of worry and terror. What's going to happen? What will the final decision be? Have I pleased Him or have I angered Him? Have I earnt His eternal wrath or have I earnt His everlasting mercy? - question on everyone's mind.

Join us on a journey into the hereafter. After we leave this world, we enter another. A world we cannot see but is a fundamental part of our belief. How can we begin to imagine this world? Learn about how Allah 'azza wajal and then our Prophet sallalahu 'alaihi wa sallam describes the sequence of events beginning from the signs of the hour, the day of judgement and all that occurs up until we enter upon our final destination either in the terrible torments of the Hellfire or the everlasting pleasures of Paradise. May Allah 'azza wajal make us inhabitants of Paradise. Ameen.
www.alkauthar.org
In the Student Union Center at the University of Miami, Abdullah Hakim Quick delivers another enlightening and unforgettable talk about the true origins of the major holidays celebrated in the West. With many non-Muslim students in attendance, Sheihk Quick explains that throughout time there has been a constant struggle between those who believe in one God and those who believe in many gods. And these struggles resulted in many compromises on the part of those who would ultimately influence and shape many modern day religious ceremonies and celebrations. And what comes to us today are rituals not condoned by the prophets and messengers of God, but rather mixed-up beliefs and practices that can be attributed to ancient pagan culture. The major celebrations analyzed in this talk are: Christmas, New Year`s, Valentine`s Day, Easter, and Halloween.

Some of them think that you just have to have faith without clear proof. However when it comes to normal things in life people apply a lot of thought such as buying a car, house, choosing a University course or which bank to join, so how can it be that when it comes to the most important questions about life; which define the purpose of our lives that we should just have 'faith' without being convinced absolutely. It is therefore vital for a Muslim to believe in the existence of Allah (swt) without any doubt whatsoever and to believe in the Prophethood of Muhammad (saw) and that the Qur'an is the final revelation sent by Allah (swt) to humanity. Islam is unlike all the other religions as it has a decisive proof that convinces the mind.Read and Listen Holy Quran online:http://www.ediscoverislam.com/quran-online.aspDiscover Islam Web Book CD..A comprehensive learning guide to understanding Islam..For Muslims and non Muslims:http://www.ediscoverislam.com/download.asp

This part focuses on the lessons learned from that events.

Why do we disobey Allah (SWT) although he honored us and gave us life?

[Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) enjoin Iqamat-as-Salt. (i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salt (prayers) (the males in mosques)) to pay the Zakt and they enjoin Al-Ma`rf (i.e. Islmic Monotheism and all that Islm orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islm has forbidden) (i.e. they make the Qur`n as the law of their country in all the spheres of life). And with Allh rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures)] 42:21

What are the ways to survive?

[You (true believers in Islmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his Sunnah) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma`rf (i.e. Islmic Monotheism and all that Islm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islm has forbidden), and you believe in Allh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fsiqn (disobedient to Allh - and rebellious against Allh`s Command)] 3:110

[The believers, men and women, are Auliy` (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another; they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma`rf (i.e. Islmic Monotheism and all that Islm orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islm has forbidden); they perform As-Salt (Iqmat-as-Salt) and give the Zakt, and obey Allh and His Messenger. Allh will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allh is All-Mighty, All-Wise] 9:71

With many non-Muslims in attendance at the University of Miami Student Union Center, Abdullah Hakim Quick delivers an enlightening and engaging talk about the origins of the major holidays celebrated in the West. An intellectual analysis of this controversial subject by a well-known American historian. Imam Quick explains that throughout time there has been a constant struggle between those who believe in Audienceone God and those who believe in many gods. And through these struggles, many compromises were made on the part of those who would ultimately influence and shape the major modern day holidays and celebrations in the West. The result today are rituals not sanctioned by the prophets or scriptures of God, but rather mixed-up beliefs and practices that, essentially, can be attributed to ancient pagan culture. The major celebrations analyzed in this talk are: Christmas, New Year`s, Valentine`s Day, Easter and Halloween. Other topics discussed: Audience Muslim holidays, Thanksgiving, Kwanza, the Sabbath, celebrating birthdays, the origins of the Hajj, having non-Muslims as friends, dealing with holidays in the school curriculum, and pork being served at the school cafeteria.

Abdullah Hakim Quick was born in the U.S. and accepted Islam in 1970. He received an ijaza from the College of Da`wah and Islamic Sciences in 1979.
With authentic references from the Qur'an and Sunnah, Shaikh Tawfique Chowdhury speaks about the one issue which we all love to avoid. Sultan Mohammed of Turkey is reported to have said, that he who eats from the table of life, will indeed drink from the cup of death. With the Hereafter being a distinct article of belief, Islam is a unique faith which explicitly describes the stages and realities of the life to come, from the moment we die, to the time spent in the grave, till the day of ressurection. Watch, reflect and act!

Shaikh Tawfique Chowdhury has travelled internationally sharing his knowledge in many countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He has written a number of books soon to be published, on a
wide array of topics, including an Islamic perspective on business transactions and Islamic rulings within the medical profession.

He is very active in working with many inter-faith organisations around the world and is also an international media contributor appearing on numerous TV and radio stations. The most notable are his appearances on ABC Asia Pacific, AlMajd Channel and the Islam Channel in the UK, where his lectures are frequently shown.

The Islamic notions of Heaven and Hell are not mythical, ambiguous or imaginary. Belief of the Hereafter is an article of Islamic faith, the stages and instances of which the last Book and Messenger of God relayed explicit details. As an admonition, Hell is documented and foretold in all its ghastly and petrifying element.

“O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones, over which are appointed angels, stern and severe, who do not disobey Allah in what He orders them and who do precisely what they are commanded.” [Al Quran 66: 6]

“Is the man who follows the good pleasure of Allah like the one who draws upon himself the wrath of Allah and whose abode is in Hell – an evil refuge? They are varying grades in the sight of Allah, and Allah sees well all that they do.” [Al Quran 3:162-163]

“They will say, ‘Our Lord, our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we were a people astray. Our Lord, remove us from this; if ever we return [to evil], then we will indeed be wrongdoers.’ He will say, ‘Remain humiliated therein, and do not speak to Me!’” [Al Quran 23:106-108]

There are many chat rooms on the Internet that perpetrate Islam, but just because something holds the name Islam doesn`t mean that it is Islamic.

There are many chat rooms that have private messaging... idle talk ... private rooms of zinna... rooms of Innovation... rooms of Slander... homosexuality...extremism and the likes! How can one profess to call the people to Allah and His Messenger (sa) when they are inviting them to join in settings such as these?! Instead, they are inviting the people to expose themselves to the haraam! Aou`thu billah.

Even still, most of these so called Islamic rooms have people speaking about Islam without having knowledge of it. Instead of teaching Islam, they teach HIS-lam, which is Islam in accordance to their own misinterpretations.
