So, Ahmad ibn Hanbal is Khawarij? Imam As Shafi'i is khawarij? They both made takfeer on their leaders and they were punished for it. r

In this clip, the person is relating innovation to holding leaders to account. To say that everyone who holds leaders to account for leading by kufr makes them the same as the khawarij who opposed Ali ra, is deliberate misguidance. And to say that it is bida'a is a joke.
