As salaamu alaikum, I do not believe this is a true story (and I'm not even sure that Muslims wrote it.)

asalaamu'alaykum, subhanAllah, true br Mustafa - our parents, especially our mothers done so much for us, we can never repay them bk even if we tried, so how one can even show a sign of disrepect to them (may Allah guide them and guide us to only show mercy and kindness to them).

and remember the words of Allah SWT: (17:23-24) And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. - And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small."

aww that made me cry wallahi. that's an excellent reminder for all of us brothers and sisters, be kind with your parents cuz they took care of you when you were young. don't wait till you can't thank them for that anymore.
